We just discovered that the new In Living Color may get canceled! As a matter of fact, the new shows that they just filmed might not even be broadcast! Check out what the President of FOX stated at the Television Critics Association;
From the USA Today;
While much of the chatter Monday was about Fox’s dueling talent shows, American Idol and X Factor, entertainment chief Kevin Reilly had updates about the network’s scripted slate.
Glee will toggle between New York, where McKinley High’s graduates move to study acting, and Ohio, where other students remain. “We will be in both locations in most (episodes),” Reilly says. “There is not a rigid formula. At one point we thought we’d split the season down the middle,” focusing on the transplants in one half and high schoolers in the other, but that would prove “jarring,” he says. “I don’t think that’s the way fans want to watch the show.”
The network has three new series for fall: drama The Mob Doctor and two comedies, The Mindy Project and Ben & Kate. But its biggest hopes rest with The Following, a drama due in January that stars Kevin Bacon as a coaxed-from-retirement agent tracking a cult of serial killers led by James Purefoy. (Bacon’s contract limits the series to 15 episodes a season.)
And two retreads won’t see the light of day. Seth MacFarlane’s Flintstones reboot is being scuttled. And Reilly indicated that planned In Living Color specials, reviving the sketch-comedy series, won’t air anytime soon. Though several have been shot, he says there’s a “high bar,” so don’t look for a new version of Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans.
All we can say is WOW! We have our sources digging right now for the full scoop!
