In a post on Instagram, the comedian known as Godfrey posted an official apology for calling the late great actor James Avery (best known as Uncle Phil on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) “gay as hell”. Godfrey makes his announcement and talks about how the comment came about and all of the backlash he has been recieving.
