Our sources have just told us that the comedian known as Talent is about to relaunch his New York Kings of Comedy brand after a 13 year hiatus AND he’s preparing to film his stand up comedy special for Showtime yet to be titled!
Sources have told us that the the special will be filmed in December and Talent is prepping for that now.
We also hear that the New York Kings of Comedy brand is gearing up for a national tour while also prepping a reality show and a stand up feature film! The tour, which has already had 2 shows in New York features comedian Gerald Kelly, Kenny Williams, Drew Frasier and Capone who is also the Executive Producer of the Show. We hear that Talent will be the host alternating the closer role with Capone depending on the show. Capone, who is coming off of the Shaq Comedy All Star Comedy Show, is the Associate Producer.
The plan is for the show to become a yearly tour while establishing itself as a new brand that will rotate the comedians and discover new up and coming talent.
Word is the show will kick off nationally in September and will look to be in over 20 cities.
Meanwhile, Talent while producing the show, will still maintain his other shows such as his upcoming performance at Doug E Fresh’s Birthday show that will feature tons of old school rap artists and comedians on Sept 20th, and a special appearance at Jokes N Notes in Chicago Sept 2nd.
