According to our sources, several of the folks who auditioned for the new role in Saturday Night Live -of an African American woman- are now in New York auditioning in front of Saturday Night Live Executive Producer Lorne Michaels for the coveted spot.
As we all know, due to the bad publicity NBC and Saturday Night Live has had over the last couple of months of the lack of an African American woman on the show, the SNL execs decided to hold secret auditions in Los Ageles. Some people even mentioned that the auditions were a publicity stunt because Michaels, who ALWAYS is at the auditions was not in attendance.
Well, now you can put that to rest; he’s in the building.
According to our sources, the SNL execs will be picking who they want to join the cast by next week.
