Several months ago, we reported that comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock were trying to get a possible tour together, and that if it moved forward, plans were that they would try to get it up as early as next year.
Well, since that story materialized, and since Rock almost confirmed on twitter several days after that, the story seemed to die down because word then surfaced that neither could get their schedules in order to make the tour happen.
This morning, while on the NBC’s Today show, Rock dropped some tidbits that the show may still be a possibility. He stated;
“… me and Chappelle have been working out, trying to get some stuff together… we will see…”
We know for a fact that Chappelle is on a minor tour working out some material with Live Nation, and we also know that Rock is starting to get in some clubs too working on some new material. We think that this may happen sooner than expected, because it seems that the heavyweights are getting in the ring.
