This is really amazing news that we heard yesterday, and we just had to share; there is whispers around Sony/Screen Gems to plan for a sequel to Think Like A Man! This is really understandable because the film, that stars Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, Gary Owen, Romany Malco, just to name a select few, is one of the best black films made in years. Not to mention the Screen Gems execs who were in attendance at the screening last week at the Pan African Film Festival heard the buzz at the after-party from many of the folks who were in attendance who gave it rave reviews.
This seems like a no-brainer, but the question will remain as to when would they be able to shoot the sequel? We say that because there is almost no time in Kevin Hart’s schedule in the next year and a half (major tour and shooting another film, AND possibly a television show). And Steve Harvey’s schedule is even more ridiculous. Anyway, this is all just specualtion right now because the first film hasn’t even been released yet, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Think Like A Man will be released April 20th.
