It seems casting is still underway for Ride Along 2 as the studio execs over at Universal have added another veteran actor- Glen Powell (of The Dark Knight Rises, The Great Debaters fame) to the new film!
As reported, the new film began last week in Miami and as you already know, stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, and is on pace to be another blockbuster film.
Benjamin Bratt (of 24: Live Another Day) actress/former comedian Olivia Munn (of the new film Deliver Us from Evil and HBO’s The Newsroom) and Ken Jeong (NBC’s Community and The Hangover trilogy) are all on board the film which has Tim Story (from the original film and Think Like A Man Too) returning to direct.
Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are on board as the writers as the story is still being kept under wraps. Cube and Matt Alvarez will produce the new film for Cube Vision alongside Will Packer for his new production arm, Will Packer Productions, as the film is set to be released on Jan. 15, 2016.
