According to industry reports, we hear that film producer, director, and writer Reggie Hudlin is setting up a new comedy film with new company IM Global that he will Direct and Produce under his Hudlin Entertainment banner.
No official word yet on what the comedy will be about but there are rumblings that the film could be a remake of some sort. You may or may not know that Hudlin was the producer behind the comedy classics House Party and Boomerang, but he is probably best known for his most recent success for producing the Quentin Tarantino-directed Django Unchained, which he also produced.
Hudlin also wrote the graphic novel The Black Panther for Marvel Comics and he Exec Produced The Black Panther animated series, and he has recently directed episodes of TNT’s Murder in the First and the upcoming NBC shows Bad Judge and Marry Me, and the Fox sitcom Weird Loners.
