On this day in comedy Katt Williams’ It’s Pimpin Pimpin was released.
Williams’ third stand-up comedy special was taped live at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Raw and uncensored, the set focuses on politics and social mishaps. Williams dissects everything from human caused tiger attacks to handicapped Olympic runners being hated on by able bodied runners to Obama, Clinton and Bush (and this came out two election cycles ago).
Directed by Troy Miller and produced by Williams, Niloo Badie, Gary Binkow, Allen Blackwell, Jeff Golenberg, Michael Green, Rikki Hughes, Neal Marshall and Thomas Marshall, It’s Pimpin Pimpin was a major success. It landed at #174 on Billboard 200 and #5 on Top Heatseekers.
