Nick Cannon is going to be in good company as he celebrates the 10th year of his MTV2 show “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out.”
The network has ordered a seventh season of the series, with a packed guest list of stars and performers that includes Kevin Hart, Jordin Sparks, Shaquille O’Neal, Snoop Dogg, Ne-Yo, Zendaya, Fabolous, Pete Wentz, Fetty Wap, T-Pain, A$AP Ferg and Nick Young.
French Montana, Fat Joe, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign and numerous others will also appear on the upcoming season, which kicks off June 10 at 11 p.m.
While this marks the seventh season of “Wild ‘N Out,” the series actually premiered in 2005, and MTV2 is taking extra measures to celebrate the milestone. On Thursday, the network launched #BestofWNO, a multi-platform social voting competition meant to determine fans’ favorite moments from previous seasons in several different categories, including Favorite All-Star and Favorite Wild ‘N Out Girl, among others. The winners in each category will be featured on the network in the days leading up to the June 10 premiere.
“Everybody needs to get ready for what is without a doubt the best, wildest, and funniest season in ‘Wild ‘N Out’ history,” Cannon said. “When we taped the new season, the studio audience in New York went crazy and I know the fans at home watching will feel the same.”
While Cannon will have plenty of guests on the upcoming season, one person who probably won’t be making an appearance is his ex, Mariah Carey, who earlier this week released a song, “Infinity,” that seemed to target Cannon with lyrics such as, “Boy you actin’ so corny like Fritos. Wouldn’t have none of that without me, though.”
