The brand new trailer for the Ice Cube/ Kevin Hart comedy sequel Ride Along 2 has just dropped online. The 2016 release is the follow-up to the hugely successful movie from 2014, and revolves around the run-up to security guard Ben Barber’s (Hart) wedding to James Payton’s (Cube) sister.
Ben and James venture to Miami to work on a case that involves a mysterious and dashing figure named Serge Pope. While there, they team up with Maya, a smart and beautiful detective. Ben looks forward to proving himself and hopes the case runs smoothly so that he can return to Atlanta in time for his wedding.
The film also stars Tyrese Gibson, Ken Jeong, Benjamin Bratt and Olivia Munn.
The first film was produced for around $25 million, but took a whopping $150 million plus at the box office. Ride Along 2 hits on January 15th.
