In case you missed it, the new film Sparkle trailer was officially released a couple of days ago, and what was surprising was to see the quick clips of Mike Epps in a serious role. As you know, we reported several months ago that he was going to be in the new film playing the role of Satin, and from the looks of it, he’s up to no good.
Sparkle follows three girls who form a singing group and struggle with fame and drug addiction. Whitney Houston, Derek Luke, and Tika Sumpter also star. Sparkle hits theaters on August 17.
