According to several reports, and most importantly, according to a tweet from actor and producer Miguel Núñez it seems that TV One has decided not to pick up Belle’s for another season.
The TV show was a scripted comedy series that centered around a widower who owns and operates his family’s upscale soul food restaurant. It was produced by Ed Weinberger (most famously known from Taxi, The Cosby Show) and starred Núñez along with other cast members Keith David, Elise Neal, Tami Roman, Ella Joyce, and Nadja Alaya,

Well my dear Friends. TV One has decided Not 2 pick up Belles the best show & cast they ever had. I am in shock. But it will be back.
Its surprising news, especially since TV One only aired six episodes. We will see if the show gets aired anywhere else or lands in syndication.
