Since his release from prison last April, Meek Mill has been loading up on concerts and festivals in hopes of getting back on track this summer. Though he has Hot 97’s Summer Jam and his Made in America performance on the horizon, Meek continues to add more shows onto his plate. On Wednesday afternoon (June 6), Meek announced on social media that he will be performing at the 2018 BET Awards and the BET Experience later this month in Los Angeles.

In a statement to Billboard, Meek expresses his gratitude towards BET for being given the opportunity to perform at both events, just only two months after his release from prison. “Looking forward to returning to the stage to perform at this year’s BET Awards and BET Experience,” says Meek. “I wouldn’t be here without all my amazing fans who have supported me more than ever these last few months, so this year’s BET Experience concert at Staples Center is going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all there. And of course, love to everyone at BET for always being a great partner and always supporting me.”

Last month, Meek showed no signs of rust when he performed at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival as a surprise guest. During his time onstage, he zipped through his catalog, performing cuts such as “I’ma Boss” and “Dreams and Nightmares Intro.” In addition to Meek, Nicki Minaj, Migos, Ella Mai, Janelle Monaé and H.E.R. will be gracing the stages for this year’s award show, which will be hosted by Jamie Foxx.

For fans in LA hoping to catch Meek Mill at the BET Experience, he’ll be performing on Saturday, June 22. For those Meek fans who won’t be on the West Coast, be sure to catch him at the 18th annual BET Awards, airing on June 24 at 8 p.m. EST.
