According to several reports the Netflix show Daredevil will be introducing another new character from the Marvel comic book universe for season 2.
Reports are actor Stephen Rider (of Lee Daniels’ The Butler fame) will be joining the superhero series as a new regular. Reports state that he will play Blake Tower, a District Attorney for New York City who helps Charlie Cox’s Daredevil — a lawyer is his civilian identity as Matt Murdock with information to help track down and capture criminals.
The show stars Charlie Cox (as Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (as Karen Page), Elden Henson (as Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (as Claire Temple), and Rob Morgan (as Turk Barrett).
The show follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Expect the series to return in the spring of 2016.
