Marlon Wayans’ What The Funny released the first in a new series of comedy sketches called Commuters. The series, created by Rell Battle, Luke Curr II and David Rowe, and a finalist at the NBC Short Cuts Festival, launches with its first episode, “N*s in Paris,” a look at the use of the N-word in social situations. While the subject is quite serious, the sketch takes an uproarious turn as friends on their way to work deal with a white man learning to use the N word with his black compatriots.
“N*s in Paris” was written by Rell Battle, Luke Curry II, and David Rowe, all of whom also appeared in the episode. Directing and editing was done by David Rowe.
