LOS ANGELES, April 25, 2019– The 23rd annual American Black Film Festival (ABFF), taking place in Miami June 12-16, is set to unleash a list of informative panels with some of the greatest minds influencing Hollywood, with the announcement of the talent converging on South Beach for the ‘ABOUT WOMEN’ and ‘HOT IN HOLLYWOOD’ panels. The ABOUT WOMEN panel will include Own Network’s Iyanla Vanzant (Fix My Life), the Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for BET Networks, Connie Orlando, screenwriter Tracy Oliver (Little, Girl’s Trip) and actress La La Anthony (Power), who is also this year’s American Black Film Festival Ambassador. The panel will be moderated by the Atlantic’s, Jemele Hill. The ABOUT WOMEN panel will bring together a group of multigenerational influencers to offer their personal in-depth experiences and perspectives on being women of color in Hollywood.
