‘Legends Of Chamberlain Heights’ Returns For Season Two On Sunday June 18th!

Posted May 25, 2017

NEW YORK, May 25, 2017 – Comedy Central shoots and scores! Your favorite benchwarmers from the coming-of-age animated series Legends of Chamberlain Heights return on Sunday, June 18 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the season premiere of Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level.

Legends of Chamberlain Heights is an urban animated series mixing raucous comedy and social commentary that centers on three high school freshman basketball benchwarmers: Jamal, Grover, and Milk. The three friends tackle life with some wins and some losses, but failure doesn’t faze them since they’re legends…even if it’s just in their own minds.

This season, Grover, Milk, and Jamal are still stuck on the bench, but once the final buzzer sounds it’s back to conquering the concrete by any means. Squeenies, Trump supporters, and vegans don’t stand a chance as the trio gets slightly protested, largely detested and even wrongfully arrested. The hater’s finna hate, but a legend’s gotta do what a legend’s gotta do!

Episodes will launch day of air on cc.com and the Comedy Central app as well as the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Microsoft Movies & TV, Google Play, Verizon Multi-Screen, Frontier Communications, and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Legends fans can get in on the action by following the show on Facebook and Twitter.

Legends of Chamberlain Heights is executive produced by Bento Box Entertainment (Bob’s Burgers, Brickleberry, The Awesomes) co-founders Scott Greenberg and Joel Kuwahara, along with co-creator Brad Ableson (The Simpsons, Good Vibes) and showrunner Devon Shepard (Everybody Hates Chris, Being Mary Jane, House of Lies, Weeds), with co-creators Quinn Hawking (Fox Sports, NFL Network) and Josiah Johnson (Showtime, NFL Network) producing. Monika Zielinska, Kelci Parker and Saira Fazli are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
