Last week at the event held by Emmy® Award-winning casting director and talent executive Robi Reed at her legendary end-of-summer event, “Robi Reed’s 12th Annual Sunshine Beyond Summer Celebration” – The Day Party With A Purpose benefiting The Reed For Hope Foundation, we got a chance to speak with actress and comedian Kym Whitely as she was one of the hosts of the main event.
While on the red carpet, Whitley spoke about the event and about several of her upcoming projects including the new season of Black Dynamite. But while on the carpet Whitley gave us an EXCLUSIVE as she dropped the news about Beauty Shop coming back as a play for one night only, and that it would be featured on her show on the OWN Network, Raising Whitley.
