King Bach To Star In Fox Navy SEAL Comedy!

Posted Oct 20, 2016

Fox has given a script plus penalty commitment to a comedy Andrew Bachelor — aka King Bach — from McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision.

The single-camera project centers on a former Navy SEAL (Bachelor) who is having trouble readjusting to civilian life. To cope, he forms a team of mercenaries called the “Badass Taskforce of Elite Assault Mercenaries” — hence “B Team.” The mercenaries are a little less elite than the former SEAL might have hoped, and the “B” part is somewhat off the mark. But under the SEAL’s tutelage, they fight for the little guy and protect the law (while sometimes breaking it).

Bachelor, who is known online as “King Bach” and has a massive social media following, will also executive produce. Bachelor also recently hosted the Streamys, and can be seen in Netflix’s Joe Swanberg series “Easy.” He is repped by UTA.

Joining Bachelor as non-writing executive producers are McG, “Workaholics” star and producer Adam Devine, and Mary Viola. (Devine and Bachelor both just wrapped on the upcoming Netflix feature “When We First Met.”) Danny Mackey will executive produce and pen the script. Chris Case (“Sin City Saints”) will be showrunner.

“B Team” comes from McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with 20th Century Fox TV.
