ATLANTA, GA (May 2, 2013) – Monday May 6th, will kick off a week of superstar celebrities taking over The Steve Harvey Morning Show broadcast, for a blowout week of radio with The Steve Harvey Morning Show’s Shirley Strawberry, Nephew Tommy, Carla Ferrell, Junior and Sheryl Underwood. While Steve Harvey – who was just named a double Daytime Emmy nominee in two categories for outstanding hosting on Steve Harvey and Family Feud – is away on vacation, the worlds of entertainment, music and sports take over the airwaves when Charlie Wilson, Kevin Hart, KEM, John Legend and Deion Sanders join the #1 rated show as special guest hosts. On Monday, May 6th the award-winning distinctive voice of Charlie Wilson will join The Steve Harvey Morning Show from Los Angeles. Currently, Wilson is celebrating his latest album, Love, Charlie (RCA Records), which features the hit single “My Love is All I Have” and latest single “Turn Off the Lights.” Wilson will take the stage this summer performing live again at the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Saturday July 6th, and bring his celebrated live show back to Las Vegas on Sunday August 11th, headlining the grown and sexy Beach Party for Steve Harvey’s 2013 Neighborhood Awards Weekend.
On Tuesday, May 7th Kevin Hart’s comedic talents will be out in full force again when he guest hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show from Los Angeles. The acting and comedy superstar just recently wrapped his first season of BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood, and his new stand-up comedy movie Let Me Explain premieres nationwide July 3rd at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, capturing the laughs, energy and more from his hit “Let Me Explain” tour, which spanned 10 countries and 80 cities.
On Wednesday, May 8th hit R&B singer KEM joins The Steve Harvey Morning Show from his native Detroit. Working on his much-anticipated fourth album, scheduled to be released in 2014, among his new music he is working on a duet with Ron Isley that he wrote, and will take the stage in a Summer 2013 tour with Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Ron Isley. KEM will also perform in Las Vegas for Steve Harvey’s 2013 Neighborhood Awards Weekend, on Friday August 9th at the State Farm Freedom Friday Party, along with Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.
On Thursday, May 9th the award-winning John Legend guest hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show from New York. Legend’s much-anticipated new album Love in the Future (G.O.O.D. Music/Columbia) will be released this summer, which currently features the hit single “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross.
