Kevin Hart Becomes 1st U.S. Comedian To Sell 1 Million Tickets In 6 Months

Posted Jun 6, 2018

Comedian Kevin Hart just broke a milestone record by selling one million tickets to his “Irresponsible Tour” in less than six months. Because his international tour sold every single show do date, he added over 100 cities to the mix, which is how he established this insane record. He became the first U.S. comedian to sell such a large number of tickets in such a short period.

On Friday, he announced on his Instagram, “All I can say is WOW. My fans are literally the dopest people on the planet. My goal was to make this tour my biggest and best tour to date and I will be damn if it’s not happening. Making the world laugh is a priority….Let’s gooooooooo people!!!!! I love y’all for this….. #irresponsibletour #comedicrockstarshit.”

Kevin Hart has worked hard for over a decade now, but in the past few years, he’s been killing it. Aside from six comedic tours (“His last tour ‘What Now?’ became the highest grossing comedy tour ever, when it sold more than 600,000 tickets and made $35 million in less than one month,” per reports Hartbeat Productions), he has also starred in multiple films, and even landed music deals.
