Justin Hires’ New ‘Rush Hour’ CBS Series Finally Gets Premiere Date!

Posted Jan 8, 2016

CBS has set premiere dates for two spring dramas and will shift Elementary from Thursdays, where it has suffered, to Sunday nights in March.

The most-watched network Friday said Rush Hour, a remake of the 1998 action comedy that starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, will debut March 31, airing in Elementary‘s 10 p.m. ET/PT Thursday slot after Elementary moves to Sundays at 10 ET/PT on March 20.

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, the latest attempt at a spinoff of the long-running drama, will air Wednesdays at 10 ET/PT, as previously announced, but its premiere date moves two weeks later, to March 16. It replaces medical drama Code Black, which will have completed its freshman season; the status of that show’s future is unclear. CSI: Cyber, which Elementary will bump on Sundays, will now get special Wednesday airings (10 ET/PT) on March 2 and 9.
