Last week we were at the Comedy Store, and we conducted an interview with comedian and actor JB Smoove (of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm fame) that you will see this upcoming week where he drops the news that TV Guide released today, and that news is about his new NBC Sitcom that he joined titled Bent.
Here is the news article that we were alerted today via email from TV Guide in an exclusive from them;
Brothers & Sisters alum Matt Letscher and Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s J.B. Smoove have joined the NBC midseason comedy, Bent, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
From Scrubs writer Tad Quill, Bent follows Alex (Amanda Peet), a high-strung single mother who hires a laid-back womanizing construction worker, Pete (David Walton), to remodel her home. The romantic comedy began production this week.
Letscher, 41, will play the recurring role of Ben, the confident and wry doctor boyfriend of Alex. However, their romance is quickly put to the test when Alex hires Pete to renovate her house. Smoove, 46, joins the cast as Clem, the electrician in Pete’s oddball construction crew.
Aside from romancing Kitty Walker on Brothers & Sisters, Letscher is known for his roles on The New Adventures of Old Christine and Good Morning, Miami. Smoove has appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm as Larry’s wise-cracking roommate Leon Black since Season 6.
Stay tuned for our upcoming interview this week!
