NEW YORK, March 13, 2012 – JB Smoove is showing viewers how to dooz it with the “JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It” uncensored and extended DVD, released by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment on April 3.
In “JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It,” a stage, a microphone and a stool are used like never before as the highly expressive Smoove gives fans a glimpse into his ridiculously creative mind. Filmed at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, random thoughts and everyday observations are transformed into hilarity when seen through the eyes of Smoove. From police chases to advice on ladies to King Kong, find out just how he dooz it.
Smoove’s first-ever original COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special, “JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It” premiered on the network in January. The DVD is uncensored and extended, with 15 minutes of content not seen on the COMEDY CENTRAL special plus bonus features “Backstage with JB” and “The Dooz.”
“That’s How I Dooz It” will also be available for download-to-own on April 3 on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, Zune and Sony Playstation Network, iTunes and Amazon. “JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It” is executive produced by Rick Austin and Mike Rothman, directed by Ryan Polito, and JoAnn Grigioni is the Executive in Charge Of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
Smoove is a gifted writer, comedian and actor, who continues to entertain audiences all over the world with his unique brand of comedic ridiculousness. Smoove is a COMEDY CENTRAL favorite who reunited with Russell Simmons for the two-episode premiere of “Russell Simmons Presents The Ruckus,” which aired on the network in January. A familiar face on the big screen, Smoove can be seen in the “The Sitter” with Jonah Hill, “We Bought a Zoo” starring Matt Damon and “The Dictator” opposite Sacha Baron Cohen. He will next be seen co-starring in the NBC series “Bent.” Smoove also serves as host of this year’s CLIO Awards special, celebrating the world’s best commercials, which is scheduled to broadcast on NBC.
Currently, Smoove has a development deal to create his own series in partnership with director Shawn Levy and has expanded his comedy empire with the launch of www.TheRuckus.com, a comedy based website focused on original and branded comedy content.
