Is Jamie Foxx Going To Replace Dave Chappelle For The Comedy Tour With Chris Rock?

Posted Jul 6, 2012

As we reported several months ago, comedian Jamie Foxx is about to return to stand up, and he plans on possibly incorporating music with his new tour. But that’s not the biggest news;  Foxx recently mentioned in an interview with TheBoomBox that he and Chris Rock have been discussing the possibility of tour together, especially since comedian Dave Chappelle has little interest in touring with Rock (as we reported too!)

According to the report;

Foxx adds that he is planning to go back on tour with some pretty high profile funny friends in the near future if he has his way. “I’m going to get a couple of these movies out of the way first,” he says. “Me and Chris Rock have been talking about getting together for a comedy tour. And I know Chris Tucker is doing shows again. And I just left a message with Martin Lawrence like, ‘Look man, these young comedy dudes are saying that they are holding it down. Let’s get back out there for the fans.”

Now, we hear lots of things, but if Foxx, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle were to ever tour together that would immediately becoming the MUST HAVE ticket, and it would eclipse even The Kings Of Comedy.
