Hollywood is buzzing right now about Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams, as the they both have been seen on stage in Hollywood for two consecutive nights.
This past Monday at The Improv in Hollywood during Big Spike’s ‘Mo Betta Mondays’ Chappelle took the stage and was later joined by Katt.
On Tuesday night at The World Famous Comedy Store for ‘Bob Sumner Presents Laff Mobb on Sunset’ during the Laff Mobb Comedy Show, Chappelle did the same thing; he was joined by Katt except this time he mentioned on stage that he is preparing to do a MUSIC show –that is NOT going to include Katt (so far) and we should expect to see it soon.
Our sources have told us today that Chappelle is preparing to do the show –possibly in New York-with several of his favorite groups such as The Roots and possibly Erykah Badu, and maybe several other groups, but we are still trying to track that down now. But what we can say is that the musical comedy show is happening and we can expect to see Chappelle pop up anywhere as he prepares to put this show together.
Finally, what about that tour with Chris Rock? Our sources tell us that at this time, their schedules is the only thing that’s holding up it moving forward. We will see how that turns out.
