A story that we did NOT post recently was the supposed new cast addition to the show Hollywood Exes because it seems that all of the news outlets and others are jumping the gun.
What do we mean? Well, it seems that everyone is reporting that Daphne Wayans (ex wife of Keenan Ivory Wayans and married for three years, and have five children together) is supposedly set to join the cast of the show.
After speaking to our sources and VH1, that statement that seems to be all over the internet and is NOT true- YET. That’s because the show has NOT been officially picked up yet and our sources tell us that VH1 is leaning to picking up the show despite it not being as successful as Basketball Wives. (Why they thought that it would be is anyone’s guess because you just knew there wasn’t going to be cat fighting on that show!)
It is true that Wayans has been spotted out with the cast and that conversations are happening for her to join, but no one can make an official offer until Shed Media (the production company of the show) gets an official word from VH1.
We guess in the meantime we all just have to wait because word is dropping in about two weeks. Stay tuned!
