Comedian Bill Bellamy is never going to be known as a comedian who lets ‘grass grow under his feet’ as the old saying goes! The comedian, who made his chops many years ago in several iconic films such as How To Be A Playa and The Brothers, and who was introduced to us on the first season of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, is about to drop more heat!
What is that you say? Well, we hear that Bellamy is about to drop a new late night show tilted The Bill Bellamy Show that is going after the Arsenio Hall audience and should drop in 2013 if all things go according to plan. What makes this story special is that in the mid 90’s Bellamy was THIS CLOSE to having a late night show on network television, but the show fell apart. At that time we heard that the show would have been under the Simmons/Lathan banner (the producers of Def Comedy Jam) and was expected to hit the market but the show fell apart.
If you think that’s all Bellamy has, well you would be wrong. He is also about to drop in a new film, he’s currently on tour with The Ladies Nite Out Tour, his own one hour special titled Crazy, Sexy, Dirty and more!
