Last week we told you that we had conducted several interviews at The Comedy Store during a special comedy show, normally the Trippin On Tuesdays Comedy Show (produced by Jeru Tilman and Herb The Entertainment Specialist) but was transformed into a special comedy show titled the Barack The Vote Comedy Show.
The show was designed to benefit the re-election of President Barak Obama and was hosted by comedian, Chris Spencer, writer of the BET Awards and creative genius behind the forthcoming BET comedy series, Real Husbands of Hollywood and also featured Earthquake, Mike Epps, Lil Rell, and many more who decided to stop by.
We got a chance to interview Spencer during the show and he discussed many things, including his take on the upcoming election. Check out the interview;
As stated last week, the show was directed by Darren Grant, (who directed Tyler Perry’s, Diary Of A Mad Black Woman), who bought his expertise to lend a hand for this special event.
The Comedy Show turned out to be a great success and is now a fundraising special for online pay-per-view for $.99 cents. The proceeds from the online viewership will also benefit Obama For America.
