Johnny Gill celebrated is 50th birthday on Sunday night with some major names in the music industry; Smokey Robinson, Eric Benet and Jeffrey Osbone to name a few.
HipHollywood exclusively went inside the 50 Shades of Johnny themed soiree where folks turned up and turned out. Smokey, Benet, Osborne and even Johnny all took the stage for a few impromptu performances while of course, the champagne flowed.
On the red carpet, it was Cedric the Entertainer who reminded us that Gill “was always that one kid with the extra greasy curl on “Perfect Combination” video, then he grew up.” Meanwhile, Kenny Lattimore dished on going back “many many years” with Johnny. “This point is such a great milestone. I’m just so glad he’s being celebrated in this fashion.”
Some of the other attendees included Yvette Nicole Brown, Nene Leakes and Nicole Murphy.
