NEW YORK, November 3, 2015 – “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” adds Grace Parra to its roster of contributors with her first appearance on the show tonight, Tuesday, November 3 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, it was announced today by Larry Wilmore, Executive Producer, Writer and Host of the program. Parra joins the talented roster of current “Nightly Show” contributors, which includes Ricky Velez, Holly Walker and Mike Yard.
“Grace is a smart, funny, young talent whose charisma jumps off the screen. We’re so excited to have her as part of our team on ‘The Nightly Show,’” said Wilmore.
Grace Parra (@GraceParra360) is a Mexican-American writer and actress from Houston, TX. She started her writing career in New York, after graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science. Grace has written for several network and cable shows and earlier this year hosted the Fuse late-night series “White Guy Talk Show.”
“The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” (Twitter and Facebook) provides viewers with Larry Wilmore’s distinct point of view and comedic take on current events and pop culture. Hosted by Wilmore, the series features a diverse panel of voices, providing a perspective largely missing in the late-night television landscape. “The Nightly Show” airs Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. and repeats at 2:00 a.m. the same night and at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT).
