As many of you already know, the Michael Baisden Show went on hiatus several weeks ago because of the contract disputes that Baisden was having with Cumulus Media Networks and that left everyone on edge, wondering if Baisden was ever coming back. The very popular jock had several key offers and things turned south pretty quickly and The Michael Baisden Show hasn’t been on the air since.
Well, after all of that went down, Baisden’s sidekick on the show, George Willborn, has seemed to have officially moved on as he has now joined The Doug Banks Show replacing the very popular Rudy Rush and fellow co-host DeDe McGuire. Willborn states ” I grew up with Doug and let me make this perfectly clear-I am now and always have been a fan of his. I am looking forward to doing whatever I can to bring all of my talent and every one of my fans to compliment the tremendous talent that is Doug Banks.”
With the departure of Willborn, we are keeping an eye to see how The Michael Baisden Show will re-surface and where- without his co-host on the ride.
Stay tuned as this story is developing!
