It seems like actress Gabrielle Union is having a great couple of months! As we stated several weeks ago that she was about to be back on the radar, it seems that it was even sooner than we could have predicted.
Why do we say that you ask?
Well, word has just dropped that Union will star in the new comedy titled Family Tree, alongside Jena Malone, Zach Gilford and John Slattery.
This follows the news that she’s co-starring in Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds, and she’ll also be co-starring in the adaption of Steve Harvey’s best-seller, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.
Not bad after a three year hiatus. Rumor had it that she had taken time off from Hollywood to spend it with NBA all star Dwayne Wade, but of course, that’s just a rumor!
In the film Family Tree, Gabrielle will play love interest to Slattery who it is stated to be about a father estranged from his son who accidentally winds up in the same vacation home with their two girlfriends. One of the girlfriends will be played by Union and the other by Jena Malone.
Filming is scheduled to begin in June, upstate NY.
