New York, NY (December 5, 2014) – MSG Network has announced that its original series “Four Courses with J.B. Smoove,” starring comedian and actor J.B. Smoove, will return for a third season with 10 all-new episodes premiering Monday, January 19, 2015.
In the half-hour episodes, filmed at Hudson Malone Restaurant in New York City, Smoove hosts a group of comedians, athletes and entertainers at a four-course meal to discuss everything New York City, from New York sports to life in the Big Apple.
Smoove’s guests at dinner this season include Russell Simmons; Sherri Shepherd; Knicks legend Larry Johnson; astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson; comedians Todd Barry, Godfrey, Jim Norton, Jim Florentine, Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell, Kurt Metzger, “Earthquake,” and Tommy Davidson; athletes Rashad Jennings (New York Giants), Plaxico Burress, and Rick DiPietro; actors Michael Boatman and David Krumholtz; sportscaster Gus Johnson; and former heavyweight boxer Gerry Clooney.
One of the most popular comedians in the country, Smoove is best known for his roles as Leon Black on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and as Ray on the CBS show “The Millers.” He can soon be seen in the film “Top Five” alongside Chris Rock and Rosario Dawson.
“I’m always excited to unfold my napkin and take out the knife and fork for a great meal with friends,” said J.B. Smoove. “We broke bread with a great group of athletes, entertainers, and even an astrophysicist! This season is gonna be off-the-hook, don’t miss it!”
