We just discovered from one of our sources that comedian Mike Epps is about to make a big push in the comedy world with several hot new projects and we have a couple of those items for you!
Up first for Epps is the hosting gig he just locked down for brand new Shaq Presents Comedy All Star Jam brand which is produced by Codeblack Entertainment and Mike Epps himself, as he has landed the Executive Producer role; the show is set for Labor Day weekend in Las Vegas.
According to our sources the show will now be branded as ‘Shaq Presents The Mike Epps All Star Comedy Jam’. No official word yet if he is going to host other gigs in other cities or who the line-up will feature just yet. But we did hear that as the new Producer of the show Epps will hand pick all of the comedians who will perform in the show. Codeback will be filming this show and will distribute under their banner.
The other project we discovered is it seems that Epps is currently very close to signing on to a new film and also in the planning stages of a new tour. No news yet on the details of the film. As you already know Epps is currently on tour with his MIKE EPPS LIVE: Come Get #EPPSIE tour but he also plans to kick off another one with new material in the spring.
