According to Paramount Studios, they finally decided that it will release the new DreamWorks’ film A Thousand Words on Jan. 13, 2012 which stars Eddie Murphy, Kerry Washington and Ariel Winter.
The new Brian Robbins film, (Robbins also directed Murphy in Meet Dave and Norbit) was filmed almost two years ago and litterally sat on a shelf since then. Why? Well, our insiders state that it might have been because Paramount Studios was on the block to be sold and they felt that the film was not going to perform well. There were others who state that Murphy was not happy with the finished project and was leaning in another direction altogether. Whatever the real reason is, the film finally has a released date. But something should be said as to WHY this film has sat on a shelf for so long.
