Today we discovered that a internet rumor that has been going around- and is the worst kept secret in Hollywood- is actually true; Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be appearing in the new film Fast Five which is the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
In case you haven’t heard, it has already been confirmed that rapper Ludacris and R&B artist/actor Tyrese Gibson (both from the second film) will also return to star alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
We also hear that not only is Johnson in the new film, we hear that he will be cast in the film as an agent assigned to catch the crew, especially Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto who escaped at the end of the last film Fast & Furious.
Next up for Vin is the new film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and for Johnson is another racing film titled Faster.
