We just discovered that the new film titled Take My Wife is about to hit the theaters!
Word has it that the film, which at the film had no distribution, is about to be picked up by Lionsgate and it stars Dwayne Johnson and Tyler Perry!
The film is said to be produced by Perry’s 34th Street production banner, and was written by Kirk Ward and Greg Coolridge .
In the film, Perry plays a “recently divorced man who realizes the only way to get out of paying alimony to his ex is to find her a new husband. He sets about transforming a rough-around-the-edges guy (Johnson) into a paramour who can be her ideal mate.”
No word on any of the other details about the film.
Shooting starts sometime next year.
