As we stated in a previous post, Steve Harvey‘s new film is lining up the cast, and now we hear that the Director of the film has been finalized. Joining comedian Kevin Hart, we hear Direct Tim Story (Of Barbershop and the Fantastic Four films fame) has been officially tapped to direct. We also hear that the film is set to be released April 6, 2012.
The film Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. is based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling 2009 book and will start production in July. Kevin Hart stars as a self-professed relationship expert who is quick to give advice to his crew of friends, even as his own marriage heads toward divorce. We hear that actresses Taraji P Henson and Sanaa Lathan are both circling to join the film which was written by Keith Merryman & David A. Newman. Producer Will Packer (of Stomp The Yard fame) has this fim through his Rainforest Films banner.
