Today the industry trade publication Variety reported that comedian and actor Chris Tucker lost a role he was lined up to play in the new film Neighborhood Watch. We just discovered from our sources close to Chris that he was never even in contention for the part even though other websites are reporting that he lost out on the role to unknown British actor Richard Ayoade.
Either way, the new film also stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, as Ayoade will play the comedic role of Jamarcus that we hear is supposed to be one of the pivitol roles of the film.
The film is about a group of neighbors who plan a neighborhood watch and in doing so they uncover an even bigger plot. The film is expected to drop in the fall of next year.
