We just discovered that comedian Dave Chappelle boarded a private jet in New Jersey destined for his home state of Ohio last night. But the plane’s pilot decided to redirect and land in Pittsburgh because the comedian’s behavior was jeopardizing the safety of the flight, according to a report on TMZ.
According to the site’s sources, Chappelle entered the cockpit a few times throughout the trip asking about the duration of the flight; at one point the comedian actually grabbed the pilot’s arms. Chappelle’s rep told TMZ that the comic simply needed to go to the bathroom, that he had eaten something bad and the facilities on the plane would not do.
