'Dancing With The Stars' Books Kevin Hart To Fill In For Judge Len Goodman!

Posted Sep 23, 2014

Kevin HartYou gotta have Hart! No one could ever really fill Len Goodman“s shoes on Dancing With the Stars, but Kevin Hart is certainly going to try. Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that the Ride Along actor will fill in as a guest judge on the ABC competition next Monday, Sept. 29, for Movie Night.

Hart, 35, will join judges Carrie Ann InabaJulianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli in evaluating the 11 remaining celebs and their pro partners as they boogie down to songs from their favorite films. He”s standing in for veteran head judge Goodman, who revealed on Monday, Sept. 22, that he”s taking next week off.

Goodman has hinted repeatedly in recent seasons that he may be ready to retire from DWTS in the not-too-distant future. Both he and Tonioli are on the U.K. show Strictly Come Ballroom, which means they have to fly back and forth between L.A. and London on a weekly basis.

“It does take its toll,” Tonioli told Parade recently. “[Len] loves the show as much as I do, but obviously as you progress in your years…it gets a bit harder to do. It”s not the flight itself, but the eight-hour jet lag between London and Los Angeles. So Len will take a few weeks off during the season to make it a little bit easier on him.”

Hart doesn”t have Goodman”s ballroom experience, but he definitely knows how to move. In fact, he recently competed in a dance-off with Josh Gad on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Tune in to Movie Night on Dancing With the Stars next Monday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
