According to Hollywood news reports, it looks like comedic actor Damon Wayans Jr. has just set up his new film project titled Let’s Be Cops, which is a comedy film Luke Greenfield will direct.
According to Deadline’s report, the film is about “two best friends looking for a little more out of life. They impersonate cops for kicks, but when they unknowingly mess with a real mobster, the game gets real. Casting is getting underway on the other roles.”
Wayans is set to star in the film with Jake Johnson of the hit series New Girl, and is being set up by 20th Century Fox. No release date has been set yet.
