Not one but two Damon Wayanses— Sr. and Jr. — will bring their stand up comedy in December to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa as part of a grand opening celebration for the casino’s high-limit slots room, blackjack pit and rock spa.
Wayans Sr. first broke out in the ’90s on the Wayans-filled sketch show In Living Color, before starring in movies (The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne) and the sitcom My Wife and Kids. His oldest son, Wayans Jr., got his start alongside his father in the film Blankman. He is currently playing Coach on the sitcom New Girl and co-starred in the movie Let’s Be Cops.
The Wayans pair will perform two 21-and-up comedy shows at the Hard Rock on Dec. 13 at 6 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 through Ticketmaster.com.
