Despite the story that we posted the other day, it is true that Damon Wayans is coming back to television!
Even though the other story isn’t official yet, this one apparently is. Word is that Wayans has agreed to return to TV- this time with CBS to play a smart-ass sports radio host in an upcoming new CBS comedy pilot set at a sports radio station.
Our source stated that Wayans’ new character is a carbon copy of the very talented Colin Coherd of ESPN Radio (who is also the Producer), and will also be working again with Andy Cadiff who is on board to direct the pilot.
No official word on several other projects from Wayans, but expect to hear more from him soon.
