LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwired – December 02, 2014) – Hollywood comedian Kevin Hart donates thirty-thousand dollars to BrittiCares International, a non-profit charity which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer. The money will be used as part of the organization’s “Imagine Me” program which surprises kids suffering from terminal cancer with awesome room makeovers in an effort to lift their spirits and spur creativity while suffering the pains of the debilitating disease. The founders of the 501c3 organization lost their eldest daughter Brittiana to bone cancer and are committed to her legacy by generating wellness in others.
This donation honors a commitment made by Hart during his Hartbeat weekend and fulfills its charity component which is the purpose of the International star-studded weekend. Hart states, “It’s vital to give back. Its something we can all do. I’ve committed an annual gift to this organization and I am proud to be apart of good work.”
