Los Angeles, CA June 2013 — Famed Los Angeles live comedy venue, The J Spot Comedy Club, continues to add to its impressive lineup of comedians and celebrities as it prepares to host its inaugural “The J Spot Experience” June 27-30. The event, is the brainchild of club owner and legendary comedian J Anthony Brown, who wants the event to celebrate comedy, black entertainment and music.
The J Spot Experience will take place June 27‐30, while thousands of visitors are expected to converge on Los Angeles for The BET Experience. While not affiliated with the network event, the club wanted to provide additional entertainment to city visitors.
Comedians scheduled to appear include Bob Sumner’s Laff Mobb comedians, Melanie Comacho, Shang, and Marvin Dixon, VH1’s Basketball Wives star Tami Roman, All Hip Hop.com founder Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur , rapper Yo Yo, members Bone Thugs & Harmony along with many others. In Addition to the live comedy and celebrity appearances, the event also features an array of functions commemorating and exploring the influence of black culture on today’s entertainment industry.
