Chris Tucker Officially Joins The Final 'Friday' Film!

Posted Jul 26, 2012

According to our sources, we discovered that the folks over at Cube Vision (the production company owned and operated by Ice Cube) were  FINALLY able to hammer out a deal with comedian Chris Tucker to officially sign on to the new Friday film, yet to be titled.

According to our folks, comedians  Mike Epps, Katt Williams, John Witherspoon and actor Tiny Lister are all supposed to be on board. We even heard that the cast from all of the films will be in this new film. There are even whispers that Ice Cube is looking at a couple of younger comedians to join the film and calls were made about Brandon T. Jackson and Kevin Hart. No word if either are going to join the film.

The script is not yet finalized as the writers were trying to figure out what the story line would be if Tucker did NOT join the cast, but we heard that there were two scenarios; one film with Tucker and one WITHOUT Tucker. So we will see. Finally, we have to add that there were many people trying to convince Tucker not to do this film, but thankfully he agreed.
