After the FOX presentations yesterday, it was revealed that the first celebrity guests for the upcoming second season of “Empire” are going to be stunners!
It seems that comedian Chris Rock will be the celebrity comedian guest starring on an episode while musicians Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys were confirmed to also play guest roles on the FOX hip-hop drama when the new season is expected to kick off later this year.
Details of their roles are still scarce, but the first half of the 18-episode season will air in Fall 2015 and the second part will premiere in Spring 2016.
Sources say that Oprah Winfrey and Common are also rumored to pop up on the sophomore season, but they haven’t been confirmed.
Co-created by Lee Daniels, the show is led by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, while stars such as Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Hudson, and Courtney Love have played recurring roles on the first season. Other guest stars included Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Rita Ora just to name a select few.
